Project Description

To help meet the growing demand for childcare in the Hutchinson area, Central Christian School began the renovation and expansion of a former fire station to create the Jay and Connie Schrock Early Learning Center.​​

Construction began in August 2024 and includes 3,700 square feet of new space. Completed in spring 2025, the center can provide care for up to 99 children, beginning as early as six weeks of age. The facility helps meet the need for early learning opportunities for families in Hutchinson and the surrounding area, supporting both child development and community growth.​
