High School Construction Day at Wiens
Construction Day is an opportunity for high school students to experience an active job site and get a taste of a career in construction. We share the qualities we look for in our team: people who show up willing to learn, want to figure out the processes, and understand an active job site.
Students will have the chance to put their skills to the test in a construction competition. This competitive element encourages teamwork and allows individuals to showcase their abilities and talents.
Several students who have participated in High School Construction Day have received summer job opportunities/ internships following excellent engagement during the activities.

What’s Construction Day Really Like?
Construction Day features hands-on challenges, a tour of a current project, and lunch with the crew.
It’s a chance for students to experience the energy, teamwork, and problem-solving that makes our work so rewarding. We hope they leave with a better feel for the work—and whether it’s something they can see themselves doing.
